Those experiences unfortunately down graded our stay and new year and anniversary experience.Each review score is between 1-10. We know they have limited golf cars but we expected someone at least to answer the phone to till us that they will be late or they have limitations, unfortunately most of the time we wait for an hour for someone to answer the phone. However our old room was empty and no body stayed at it till 4 pm so they could have let us stay at it till the new room is ready in order to us to relax after the 4 hours of traveling. ![]() ![]() We asked for room change and they accepted our request but unfortunately our room was early check in and the new one was still not ready we have been asked to move out from our room until 3:30 pm when the new room is ready. Upon arrival at 12 noon time, we were put on a room exactly next to the street which was very noise and giving the experience of nature and relaxation. Unfortunately, we were unpleased with our stay specifically our arrival experience. The place was great and the decorations were excellent. I would like to share our experience in habitats al Ula for our anniversary and new year 2023. This is a management issue - bring in a manager from a top notch Asian hotel who knows what 5 star service actually looks like and start giving your guests the experience they are paying for!!! Looking back through other reviews, the problems with service here are not new. ![]() They have a nice program of activities but really should do more to provide information on their website ahead of time. Service at breakfast on our last day was so bad that we had to complain a number of times before even getting a drink - a 45 minute wait for a coffee is just not OK. Plus, in the winter it is very cold inside. The restaurant is nice but not amazing and - again - over priced for what you get. Reception is a disaster - no-one greeted us and it was unclear where to wait or what was going on, people were milling about and there was no such thing as orderly queueing. SAR6,500 room only for 2 nights is A LOT in any country and at this level you just expect impeccable 5 star service not the chaos that you are faced with here. This is a stunning resort and it could be so much better if the service was at the level it should be at for this kind of price. You overpay for the design and get a 1 star service We were told they can’t give us a second motorbike when we saw people who stayed in one room and had multiple bikes. Buggies take too long for them to show up 7. You’d wait for ages for assistance with anything 6. ![]() We were so lucky we had a number of someone we knew who managed to pick us up. They couldn’t arrange a car to drop us at the airport coz their cars are fully booked and they can’t assist us further. Even though I have informed them, I was only able to take a shower on the last day. There’s nothing nearby so don’t bother going to Habitas if you have any sort of medical or stomach issues. The restuarant manager was throwing jokes instead of trying to figure out a meal for me. I couldn’t even slept coz i was starving. Don’t go to Habitas if you have any medication conditions, IBS or allergies: I was told they can’t serve me anything coz it’s a set menu. However, we honestly felt like the place is so gorgeous yet the service is so low. We were so excited to experience Habitas AlUla.
